Matsushima
Many of the islands in the bay are crowned with pines above their white rock faces. The shapes of the wave-carved rocks differ from island to island, and touring by boat reveals one new face after another.
Looking down from a viewpoint, countless islands are scattered across the bay, like a single miniature garden.
